Another DOTA 2 Major will be coming here to Southeast Asia in 2020. One Championship’s subsidiary, One Esports has announced the One Esports Singapore Major which will be taking place on the 20th until the 28th of June next year.
The Major will have a US$1million prize pool and will be taking place at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. In addition to the prize pool, teams competing will also be vying for a spot at The International 2020 (TI10) as the winner will be getting 15,000 points for the Dota Pro Circuit.
The Singapore Major will be the final Major event of the Dota Pro Circuit Major to be held before TI10 which will be held in Stockholm on the 18th until the 23rd of August. One Esports will be partnering with PGL, naming them the official broadcasters for the event.
The Southeast Asian region has previously hosted a number of Dota 2 Major tournaments, namely in Malaysia and the Philippines. Now, it is Singapore’s turn to hold the torch.
