Halo: Infinite
Microsoft isn’t playing around for the launch of Xbox Series X. That’s because Halo: Infinite is set to be part of its launch lineup, along with PC and Xbox One versions. Master Chief returns this time to finish off the current saga of the Halo storyline, which is said to be a “more human story” overall. All we’ve seen thus far is the first reveal trailer at E3 2018 and the teaser at E3 2019. Hopefully, we can learn more about Halo Infinite in the upcoming beta ahead of the game’s launch.
Platforms: Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PC | Release Date: Holiday 2020
Microsoft Flight Simulator
It has been far too long since flight-sim fans used their Thrustmaster joysticks to play a brand new Microsoft Flight Simulator. After all, the last entry came out in 2006. While we don’t know precisely when the new game will take flight this year, we do know that it’ll include a wide variety of aircraft to fly, as well as up-to-date real-world landscapes based on satellite images rendered in 4K.
Platforms: Xbox One, PC | Release Date: TBA 2020
Session
Session is a skating simulator that’s looking to reinvigorate the fan-favorite genre with a stick-per-foot skating system, a gameplay footage editing and sharing functionality, and recreations of the world’s most iconic skate parks for you to explore. It went into early access on Steam in late 2019 and ran into delays transitioning to Xbox One. We’re not exactly sure how much longer fans of the game will have to wait, but it’s confirmed to launch for the platform sometime this year.
Platforms: Xbox One | Release Date: TBA 2020 (Available Now on PC via Early Access)
Tell Me Why
Tell Me Why is a narrative adventure game from the studio that made Life Is Strange. It focuses on twins Allison and Tyler, who return to Alaska to investigate childhood trauma while being faced with their different interpretations of events. Tell Me Why’s story will unravel across three chapters, and you can expect to start sometime this year.
